1Install from the Marketplace
  1. Open the ADO Pilot listing on the Azure DevOps Marketplace using the button above.
  2. Click 'Get it free' and select your Azure DevOps organization.
  3. Authorize the extension to access your repositories.
2Sign Up and Connect Your Organization
  1. Go to adopilot.dev and sign up with your work email.
  2. Connect the Azure DevOps organization you installed the extension into.
  3. Choose which repositories should have AI reviews enabled.
3Configure Your Organization
  1. Fine-tune per-repository settings — enable/disable, review-on-push, branch filters — anytime from the app.adopilot.dev dashboard.
  2. Optionally configure file exclusion patterns (e.g., *.lock, *.generated.cs).
4Choose Your Plan
  1. Start with the Starter plan ($20/month, 150 RCs included).
  2. Upgrade anytime as your team grows — no lock-in.
  3. Reviews continue without interruption if you exceed your allocation (overages billed at tier rate).
5Optional: Set as Required Policy
  1. Go to your repository's branch policies.
  2. Add a status check for 'adopilot/ai-pr-review'.
  3. PRs will require ADO Pilot review approval before merging.
6Create a PR and See It in Action
  1. Create or update a pull request in an enabled repository.
  2. ADO Pilot automatically reviews the changes within minutes.
  3. Review comments appear inline on the relevant code lines.
$ adopilot review --target main --mode ai
