Get started

You’re almost set up

Once ADO Pilot is installed in your Azure DevOps organization, a few minutes of setup gets you your first AI-powered code review.

1Sign Up and Connect Your Organization
  1. Go to adopilot.dev and sign up with your work email.
  2. Connect the Azure DevOps organization you just installed the extension into.
  3. Choose which repositories should have AI reviews enabled.
2Configure Your Organization
  1. Fine-tune per-repository settings — enable/disable, review-on-push, branch filters — anytime from the app.adopilot.dev dashboard.
  2. Optionally configure file exclusion patterns (e.g., *.lock, *.generated.cs).
3Choose Your Plan
  1. Start with the Starter plan ($20/month, 150 RCs included).
  2. Upgrade anytime as your team grows — no lock-in.
  3. Reviews continue without interruption if you exceed your allocation (overages billed at tier rate).
4Optional: Set as Required Policy
  1. Go to your repository's branch policies.
  2. Add a status check for 'adopilot/ai-pr-review'.
  3. PRs will require ADO Pilot review approval before merging.
5Create a PR and See It in Action
  1. Create or update a pull request in an enabled repository.
  2. ADO Pilot automatically reviews the changes within minutes.
  3. Review comments appear inline on the relevant code lines.
